Our company manufactures injected plastic eyewear as well as handmade acetate frames in Italy. Frames are created while keep great attention to detail, as these support lenses to improve vision. We use machines for making the frames and every production step is continually reviewed by the operator. The quality control checkers are responsible for particular operations. The production chain is completely developed, right from the mould and tooling preparation to the final product. 

Design & Toolings

Behind a good product is a great design. The detail of a new frame is studied prior to preparing equipment for production. The professionals work to identify and resolve every problem in the design stage during the production process. They select the most suitable raw material and appropriate technical solutions.

Acetate frames

Mazzucchelli or LA/ES cellulose acetate is used to carve the fronts and temples. Derived from cotton, cellulose acetate is strong and flexible. Long, narrow sheets that are wider than eyeglass frames are produced. Hand polished individual parts are assembled into a complete frame.

Plastic Injection

The production starts with the production of plastic parts by injecting molding, followed by tumbling and assembling frames ready for lacquering. The machine shop is large enough to meet all production requirements.

Painting

The injected eyewear are painted and lacquered in pressurized rooms. The skilled and experienced artisans produce elegant refinements: it is at that stage where a simple frame can be turned into a little masterpiece, with desired colours, eye-catching highlights, and subtle shading.

Lens Cutting

Lens cutting is carried out using fully automated machines. Continuous instrumental monitoring ensures compliance with all the international standards and norms.

Finishing

The finished article is enhanced with additional processes, such as inlayed decorations, laser engraving, application of rhinestones, and leather coverings. The quality is ensured by rigorously checking every piece.
